BOOK YOUR TRANSFERS With YOUR REGISTRATION
OPTIONAL ‘EASY TRANSFER PACKAGE’
Includes shuttle transfers to and from Pellston Airport, boat transfers round trip, luggage transfers round trip and horse/buggy ‘taxi’.
For an additional combined fee of $150, members and any guests who fly into Pellston Regional Airport (PLN) ONLY, can secure their airport shuttle, ferry transfer and luggage service on the registration form. Since this is a remote destination; traditional taxis and ride share options are not available. ACVO will request the itineraries of those who have pre-paid this transfer fee from PLN, and manage these with the provider on your behalf. For those not traveling through PLN, preferred vendors for shuttle transfer and boat shuttle are listed below and simple to arrange.

Step 1
Included airport
Pellston Regional Airport (PLN)
Pellston Regional Airport provides non-stop flights to and from Detroit via Delta Airlines. The airport is located 12 miles south (about a 30-minute drive) of Mackinaw City.
Step 3
Included Ferry Service
Shepler’s Ferry will transport attendees from the Mackinaw City ferry docks to Mackinac Island. Don’t worry about your luggage, they will be delivered directly to you room at the Grand Hotel.
Step 4
Taxi Service
When you arrive to the island, you may either enjoy a short walk (MAP) from the ferry dock to Grand Hotel or opt for a Taxi Carriage, which are generally available between 8 am and 5 pm. All rides to the hotel from the ferry docks are $8.50 per person (cash only).

After 5 pm, a taxi may be arranged in advance of your arrival by contacting the Mackinac Island Taxi Company directly at 906-847-3323, subject to availability.
Step 2
INCLUDED AIRPORT Shuttle
The Mackinaw Shuttle will pick you up from the Pellston Regional Airport for transportation service between the Pellston Airport and the Mackinaw City ferry docks.
INCLUDED Luggage Transfers
The guest will be provided luggage claim tags when boarding the Ferry. Once you arrive to Mackinac Island by ferry, luggage transfer is simple and convenient. Upon Grand Hotel check-in, present your luggage tags provided by the ferry service and your luggage will delivered to your room within three hours of hotel check-in.
Please keep this in mind when preparing to participate in our evening dress code.
For your return trip back to the mainland, follow the in-room instructions. Your luggage will be tagged and transferred from your room to a secure location on the appropriate mainland dock. We request a minimum three-hour window for the transfer. Guests departing by ferry prior to 9 am should transfer their own luggage to the dock.
